If you love without judging anyone, you create your own heaven on this magnificent earth. Love cannot exist without judgement. You can’t love someone and not think about their shortcomings. It takes a great deal of self-control to be able to love without any form of judgement or criticism.

You can’t expect yourself to love someone and not try and change them into the person that you want them to be. We all judge people based on our own standards; we make judgements about someone else’s behaviour and actions. We tend to think that we know what is best for someone else and we feel like we have the right to make those decisions for them.

When it becomes our goal to change another person into the person we want them to be, then love is no longer unconditional. This quote is a reminder that love should not have any conditions attached to it at all.
